got my main finally lol
Nicole 23, yes I still have to fix this lol
got my main finally lol
Having a delusion/paranoid and narcissist mother is to fucking much My brother is a little incel and I am so tired
Took the commissions post down bc I haven’t gotten any so I’m going to change prices and maybe that’ll help.
In the meantime I’d like to remind everyone that I’m still wo a job, that gordo has been diagnosed w calicivirus which requires very expensive medication for the rest of his life, I’m living off leaching out of a very generous aunt that has agreed to help me with rent, but ofc it’s not gonna be for ever, she’s got her own life and I feel bad enough already that she’s straining herself for me, and even so despite her help I still have to come up with money for everything else, which is rly just the basics.
This means groceries; food, litter and medication for gordo. I’m literally living off of toast for breakfast, one chicken piece for lunch and that’s it. Sometimes pasta and canned tuna instead of the chicken.
I need you all to understand: 100k Colombian pesos is more or less the same as 25 US dollars. Groceries for two weeks costs around 130k pesos bc my country is in the damn gutter right now. Gordo’s meds cost 102k pesos and lasts 29-30 days. When I say that anything you are able to help me with really goes a long way, I’m not making that up. One dollar is 4k right now.
I’m applying for jobs daily. I try to keep myself busy by drawing and practicing for when commissions come up. Im doing my best to keep my chronic depression at bay.
Iff you can’t help w monetary aid, please, I am begging, share this post.
EDIT: CHANGED LINK bc the other one was blasting my dead name lmao fun times
Xiao came home OMG
It’s actually surprising to find out how much my mother hates me like I always knew but damn
I’ll be honest: The point of this post wasn’t to solicit a response from foodnetwork but to see if they were able to be manipulated into deleting their posts. The amount of bootlicking in reblogs, tags and replies is kinda hilarious but sad? It’s amazing that some intern who puts in a half assed reply flipped the lotta ya but we’ll get em eventually.
That being said:
here is a link to the gofundme for the funeral of delaina yaun, a victim of the shooting in atlanta, and another link to the gofundme to support her family, she is survived by 2 children and a husband. (these are both verified by gofundme.)
here is a gofundme link for elcias hernandez ortiz, who was shot but is currently in intensive care as i write this. he was the only survivor of this attack. his family will need help paying for the medical bills. (cnn includes this link in an article about the attack.)
if i find any more links to the help out the victims friends and family i will add them.
thank you for donating if you can, and thank you for sharing. everyone please stay safe.
Everyone should know the international sign for Help Me. Let’s make this famous!!
Interesting; I didn’t know this was a thing.
It’s apparently a thing, but it’s a very new thing, so it may need some help being known.
reblog to save a life
for no reason at all i decided to update this list to remove some fundraisers that aren’t as relevant or that have met their goals (updated 10/19). so if you’re still planning on watching or discoursing about a cw television show based in the southwest – spend a little of that energy uplifting the needs of the navajo nation, on whose ancestral land the show is filming.
so in case you’re about to watch a cw television show based in the southwest that’s featuring an episode based on some supposed reservation – or you’ve read anything about the situation on the navajo nation recently – i wanted to share some ways that we all can help the diné (navajo) community beyond kind-of depicting them on television.
below are a number of organizations & community groups raising money & resources. it would mean so much to me if you’d consider supporting these communities right now - & continue to think about how you can support the indigenous communities near you, & understand the indigenous land you might currently occupy.
the navajo water project helps bring running water to navajo families without, and also helps families pay their water & electricity bills
the adopt an elder project helps feed navajo elders during the pandemic
the navajo health command operations center is the navajo nation’s only official fundraising and donation effort
the kinlani mutual aid group is a flagstaff, az based volunteer group collecting supplies
the new mexico children’s foundation has a navajo family relief fund.
and a number of community-run fundraising efforts:
- navajo & hopi families relief fund
- native student emergency fund
- navajo nation relief project
- food baskets for the elderly on the navajo nation
- rez rising (database of native american small businesses)
and just for fun here’s some great news coverage about the state of the navajo nation i’ve read recently
- natives and the path to suffrage in arizona (short video)
- “for the navajo nation, everything takes time - including voting’
- how the us poisoned the navajo nation
- climate change is drying the liveblood of navajo ranchers
- an in-depth look at the water crisis impacting the navajo nation
- the good food indicator - native land information system
if you’re aware of any other legitimate fundraising efforts to help these communities, or the indigenous communities near you, please add them. again, this is specific to navajo communities in the southwest.
Additional fundraisers:
- The Silver Stallion Bike Program - which seeks to provide bicycle infrastructure and also education + repair classes for the Navajo Nation
- COVID Relief Indigenous Youth Skateboard Project - seeking to support Navajo children with socially distant physical exercise by providing skateboards, parks, as well as mental health support and community guidance
- The Kakichihiwewin Project - rebuilding Navajo communities by creating accessible online healing circles and providing care kits to families affected by COVID-19
Additional Indigenous led Organizations and Coalitions supporting Navajo communities during COVID (Both also have links
